When you come across an enemy. They’re essentially made of yarn and can be sucked into your mouth to gain new abilities. However, in Epic Yarn Kirby doesn’t have his usual inhale ability as the air passes through his new yarn body. Instead, he has a whip that can wrap enemies and turn them into yarn balls which can be used to attack or grab items.
Other than this, Kirby also gains the ability to shapeshift into many different forms. Most of which are fairly unique in their own right. These include a car, submarine, weight, and even a tank. Some of these transformations can be activated by tapping on the screen. While others require scanning in an Amiibo.
